| Lot 426 | A worksplate, LMS, BUILT 1932, CREWE, from a LMS Class 2P 4-4-0 No 698 which became BR 40698. Allocated by January 1935 to Bath where it spent almost all its life working on the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway. Withdrawn from Bath on 25 July 1960, it was cut up at Gorton Works. Cast brass, 10¼"x6", the front repainted. £300-500 |
