| Lot 404 | A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 8326, COWLAIRS, 1905, from a North British Railway Class F 0-6-0T No 842 which became LNER J88 Class No 9842 and was renumbered 8326 in 1946, becoming BR 68326. Allocated to Eastfield by January 1948, it moved in 1955 to Grangemouth from where it was withdrawn on 16 October 1959 and sold for scrap to Motherwell Machinery & Scrap at Wishaw. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. £300-400 |
