A nameplate, CEFNTILLA COURT, from the GWR 2900 Saint Class 4-6-0 No 2936 built at Swindon in November 1911 and named after the neo-Tudor mansion ten miles from Abergavenny, formerly the home of Lord Raglan. Allocated by January 1948 to Ebbw Junction from where it was withdrawn on 26 April 1951 and cut up at Swindon Works in the four weeks ending 16 June 1951. The splasher has been repainted. £7000-9000 |
