A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 63351, DARLINGTON, 1913, from a North Eastern Railway Class T2, LNER Q6 Class, 0-8-0 No 1264 built at Darlington in June 1913, renumbered 3351 in 1946, becoming BR 63351. Allocated to Tyne Dock by January 1948 and later Middlesbrough, West Auckland and West Hartlepool from where it was withdrawn on 18 January 1965 and sold for scrap to M. Baum at Middlesbrough. Cast iron, 9"x5", with brass renumbering strip, the front cleaned but unpainted. £150-300 |
