| Lot 313 | A worksplate, HAWTHORN LESLIE, 3308, 1918, together with its numberplate 13, from a standard gauge 0-4-0ST new to British Cyanides Ltd, Oldbury, Staffs with running number 2. Sold in July 1946 to Gas Light & Coke Co, Beckton By-Products Works, Essex where it became No 13. The Works and its locos became part of the North Thames Gas Board in May 1949. It was scrapped around July 1967. Both cast brass and in ex loco condition, the nameplate 13"x8½", the numberplate 16"x6½". (2) £150-300 |
