A worksplate, GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY, DONCASTER, 1145, 1907, from a GNR/LNER N1 Class 0-6-2T, the first of the Class built in April 1907, GNR No 190. It became LNER No 3190 and was renumbered 9430 in 1946, becoming BR 69430. A long time Copley Hill engine, it was withdrawn from there on 10 December 1956 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Fully engraved brass, 17½"x9½", the front lightly polished, the back stamped 3190. £1000-1500 |
