A nameplate, AMINGTON. NO 3., from a standard gauge 0-6-0ST built by Bagnall, Works No 2508, in 1934. New to Glascote Colliery Co Ltd at Amington Colliery, Tamworth, where it was named. The Colliery became part of the National Coal Board in January 1947 and this loco moved to Pooley Hall (North Warwickshire) Colliery in June 1951 and later to Baddesley Colliery where it was subsequently scrapped. Cast brass, 40¼" long, the front repainted. £600-900 |
