A GWR cabside numberplate, 6019, from the 6000 King Class 4-6-0 KING HENRY V built at Swindon in July 1928. Allocated to Laira by January 1948 and later Bristol Bath Road and Newton Abbot before arriving in July 1950 at Old Oak Common where it spent the next ten years. It then moved to Cardiff Canton returning to Old Oak Common for a final six months until withdrawal on 7 September 1962. It was taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 30 April 1963. Cast brass, the front repainted. £7000-10000 |
