| Lot 24 | A worksplate, NEILSON REID, 6047, 1901, from a Great Central Railway Class 9J 0-6-0 No 985 which became LNER J11 Class No 5985 and was renumbered 4292 in 1946, becoming BR 64292. Allocated to Annesley by January 1948, it moved in 1955 to Staveley GC and in 1960 to Darnall from where it was withdrawn on 20 July 1962 and subsequently scrapped. Cast brass, 6¾"x4¼", the front repainted. £350-500 |
