| Lot 232 | A worksplate, VICTOR, and its matching numberplate, No 5, from a standard gauge 0-6-0DM built by Hudswell Clarke, Works No DM921, in 1955 and supplied new to John Lysaght Ltd at Scunthorpe as their No 5. To the British Steel Corporation with the site on 28 July 1967 and scrapped circa March 1976. Each cast brass, the nameplate, 20¾" long, the numberplate 15¼"x11", the latter has had the front repainted. (2) £500-700 |
