| Lot 203 | A worksplate, NEILSON REID, 5697, 1900, from a South Eastern & Chatham Railway C Class 0-6-0 No 691 built in July 1900, becoming SR 1691 and BR 31691. Allocated to Faversham by January 1948, it moved in July 1951 to Hither Green from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 21 October 1961 and cut up at Ashford Works by the end of the following week. Cast brass, 9"x6½", the front repainted, the back marked 1691. £350-500 |
