A smokebox numberplate, 32511, from a London Brighton & South Coast Railway E4 Class 0-6-2T No 511 built at Brighton in February 1901 and named LINGFIELD after a village in the Company's territory, although the name was removed before the end of 1910. It retained its LBSCR number in SR days, later renumbered 2511 and became BR 32511. A long time Horsham loco, it moved in 1951 to Brighton from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 15 September 1956 and cut up at Brighton Works in the week ending 3 November 1956.
