| Lot 459 | A worksplate, SCHWEIZERISCHE, WINTERTHUR, 3251, 1928, from an Indonesian State Railways (PNKA) 3ft 6ins gauge Mallett type 2-6-6-0 articulated loco built by the Swiss Locomotive & Machine Works at its Winterthur factory. Originally numbered 1628 but later classified as Class 50 and renumbered CC50028, it worked on the island of Java where most of Indonesia's railways were concentrated. Cast brass, 16½"x5¾", in ex loco condition; painted L1628 on the back. £200-350 |
