| Lot 439 | A worksplate, KITSON, 1903, 1873, from a 3ft 9ins gauge 4-6-0T No 2 (formerly named FOWLER) supplied new to the Bilbao Iron Ore Co Ltd in Northern Spain for use on the line which connected the iron ore mines near Galdames to Staithes at La Iberia near Sestao. There was considerable cannibalisation of parts with the result that several locos did not necessarily carry their original identities. By the mid-1960s there was little iron ore traffic and sometime after then the loco was scrapped. Engraved brass, 10¾"x6½", the front lightly polished.
