A worksplate, BR(E), 61109, 1946, from a LNER BI Class 4-6-0 No 1109 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25865, in December 1946, which became BR 61109. At Neasden by January 1948, its later sheds were Gorton, Stratford, Darnall, Canklow and New England from where it was withdrawn on 12 July 1964 and sold for scrap to R.A. King at Norwich on 26 August 1964. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. £400-600 |
