An industrial nameplate, WARWICKSHIRE, from a 0-6-0ST built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns, Works No 7752, in 1953. It spent all its working life at the National Coal Board's Baddesley Colliery, Baxterley and in February 1968 went to Bush Ltd at Alfreton for scrap. Cast brass, 32½" long, shaped to fit the saddle tank, the front cleaned but unpainted; the back marked 7752. £400-600 |
