An industrial nameplate, ASTEROID, together with its matching AVONSIDE worksplate, 1803, 1918, from an 0-4-0ST ex works in November 1918 to British Thomson-Houston Co Ltd, at their Rugby works, their No 2. It worked there all its life until scrapped on site by A.T. Arnold (Wednesbury) Ltd in November 1962. Both cast brass, the nameplate 33" long, the worksplate 11"x6½", the fronts repainted.
