| Lot 379 | A smokebox numberplate, 61074, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1074 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25830, in September 1946, becoming BR 61074. Allocated to Hull Botanic Gardens by January 1948, it moved later the same year to nearby Hull Dairycoates where it spent nine years before moving to Grantham and New England from where it was withdrawn on 4 September 1963 and sold for scrap to R.A. King at Norwich. The front repainted. £350-500 |
