| Lot 311 | A worksplate, KERR STUART, 4371, 1926, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4343 which became BR 44343. At Stoke by January 1935, its later sheds included Watford and Workington from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 12 March 1960 and subsequently scrapped, possibly at Horwich Works where it was noted on 23 September 1961 although Horwich records do not verify this. Cast brass, 12¾"x6¾", the front repainted. £500-600 |
