A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 7293, 1949, from an East African Railways metre gauge Class 58 4-8-4+4-8-4 Garratt No 5804, one of a Class of eighteen oil burning locos ordered by the Kenya-Uganda Railway after WWII but supplied to the newly formed EAR. All have been scrapped. Cast brass, 10¼"x6½", the front repainted. £150-300 |
