| Lot 248 | A worksplate, KERR STUART, 3098, 1918, from a standard gauge 0-6-0T new to Furness Shipbuilding Co Ltd, Haverton Hill, County Durham, as their No 17, Later worked for Weardale Steel Coal & Coke Co Ltd at Thornley Colliery where it was rebuilt in 1938. Loaned briefly to Wheatley Colliery in 1965 and subsequently scrapped. Cast brass, 12¾"x6¾", the front lightly cleaned. £300-500 |
