A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 4850, DARLINGTON WORKS, 1934, from a LNER J39 Class 0-6-0 No 1467 built in March 1934, renumbered 4850 in 1946, becoming BR 64850. At Darlington by January 1948, its later sheds were Neville Hill, Selby, Thornaby, Malton and Hull Dairycoates from where it was withdrawn on 3 December 1962 and cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", lightly cleaned but unpainted. £150-300 |
