A worksplate, ANDREW BARCLAY, 1918, 1927, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4374 which became BR 44374. Allocated to Plodder Lane by January 1935 and later Carnforth, Barrow and Stoke. It spent its last five years at Crewe Works where it was used as a Works shunter and from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 2 February 1963 and cut up at the Works by 17 May 1963. Cast brass, 9½"x7", the front repainted. £200-350 |
