A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, HYDE PARK WORKS, No 23261, 1925, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4064 which became BR 44064. At Willesden by January 1935, its later sheds included Edge Hill, Stoke, Crewe South, Workington, Brunswick, Rugby and Stoke from where it was withdrawn on 25 November 1959 and, following a period in store at Uttoxeter, despatched for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge on 15 June 1961. Cast brass, 8" diameter, in ex loco condition. £150-300 |
