| Lot 161 | A smokebox numberplate, 5692, from a GWR 5600 Class 0-6-2T built at Swindon in January 1927. Allocated to Merthyr by January 1948, its later sheds included Cardiff Cathays, Llanelly and Radyr from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 17 July 1965 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on the following 21 September. The front repainted. £250-400 |
