| Lot 117 | A smokebox numberplate, 90096, from a War Department Austerity 2-8-0 built to Ministry of Supply order by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25364, in December 1944, WD No 78603. Loaned to the LNER in October 1946 and purchased by them in April 1947, it became their Class O7 No 3096 and was allocated to Heaton. It became BR 63096 and was renumbered 90096 in December 1951. Its BR sheds were March, Stratford, New England and Doncaster from where it was withdrawn on 19 September 1965 and cut up by Drapers at Hull in the week ending 11 December 1965.
