| Lot 108 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 6691, from a 5600 Class 0-6-2T built by Armstrong Whitworth, Works No 979, in October 1928. At Cardiff Canton by January 1948, it spent most of its BR days at Duffryn Yard with brief stays at Neyland, Merthyr, Rhymney and Llanelly from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 19 June 1965 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on 28 July 1965. Cast brass, in ex loco condition. £300-500 |
