Lot 443 |
A worksplate, London & North Eastern Railway, 5445, REBUILT STRATFORD 1913, from a Great Eastern Railway Class Y14 0-6-0 No 645 built at Stratford in 1899. A long time Colchester engine, it moved to Parkeston in 1959 and then to Stratford from where it was withdrawn on 1 August 1962 and sold for scrap to A. King at Canning Town. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. £350-500 |
