| Lot 424 | A worksplate, HAWTHORN LESLIE, 3697, 1928 from a LNER N2 Class 0-6-2T No 2668 which was renumbered 9574 in 1946 and became BR 69574. A long time Kings Cross engine, it was withdrawn from there on 14 February 1961 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Cast brass, 10"x6", the front lightly polished, otherwise untouched. £200-350 |
