| Lot 422 | A smokebox numberplate, 5390, from a GWR 43XX Class 2-6-0 built at Swindon in October 1920. At Oxley by January 1948, its later sheds were Reading, Oxley again and Didcot from where it was withdrawn on 13 August 1958 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on 9 July 1959. Ex loco condition. £250-400 |
