A worksplate, KITSON & Co, 1921, together with its matching numberplate, 72, from a Manchester Ship Canal 0-6-0T built by Kitson, Works No 5357, and delivered new on 21 October 1921. It spent all its working life at the MSC railways and was scrapped at their Mode Wheel Workshops in December 1964. The worksplate engraved brass, 10½"x6¼", the face lightly polished, a score mark at the top. The numberplate, cast brass, 15¾"x9½", the front repainted. (2) £600-900 |
