| Lot 384 | A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 9706, DONCASTER, 1927, from a LNER N7 Class 0-6-2T No 2604 built at Doncaster, Works No 1673, in November 1927, renumbered 9706 in 1946, becoming BR 69706. At Stratford by January 1948 and later Norwich and Lowestoft, returning towards the end to Stratford from where it was withdrawn on 4 December 1960 and cut up at Stratford Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", lightly cleaned but unpainted. £150-300 |
