A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 60805, DARLINGTON WORKS, 1937, from a LNER V2 Class 2-6-2 No 4776 built at Darlington in July 1937, renumbered 805 in 1946, becoming BR 60805. At Gateshead by January 1948 and later Heaton, Tweedmouth and York North from where it was withdrawn on 23 December 1963 and cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. £300-500 |
