A nameplate, ROYAL MAIL, from the Southern Railway Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 Bulleid Pacific No 21C3, the third of the Class built at Eastleigh in September 1941. It became BR 35003 in June 1948 and was rebuilt at Eastleigh without its original streamlined casing in August 1959. Allocated new to Exmouth Junction where it spent most of its working life, moving in 1964 to Nine Elms and then Bournemouth, Weymouth and back to Nine Elms from where it was withdrawn on 9 July 1967 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Newport on 22 December 1967.
