| Lot 272 | A (GWR) cabside numberplate, 9475, from a 9400 Class 0-6-0PT built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns, Works No 7626, and allocated new on 6 June 1952 to Worcester where it remained for eight years before moving to Penzance. Its later sheds were Duffryn Yard, Neath Court Sart and Radyr from where it was withdrawn on 7 May 1965 and sold for scrap to Birds Commercial Motors at Morriston on 16 June 1965. Cast brass, in ex loco condition. £350-500 |
