| Lot 235 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 5640, from a 5600 Class 0-6-2T built at Swindon in October 1925. At Cardiff Cathays by January 1948, its later sheds were Merthyr, Radyr, St Philips Marsh and Leamington from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 1 June 1963 and taken for scrap by Cashmores at Great Bridge on 1 November 1963. Cast iron, the front repainted. £350-500 |
