| Lot 193 | A smokebox numberplate, 30216, from a London & South Western Railway O2 Class 0-4-4T No 216 built at Nine Elms Works in June 1892, retaining this number in SR days and becoming BR 30216. At Plymouth Friary by January 1948, it spent all its BR days there except for three weeks at Eastleigh in 1950. Withdrawn from Plymouth Friary in the week ending 2 November 1967, it was cut up at Brighton Works in the week ending 4 January 1958. Ex loco condition. £400-600 |
