| Lot 175 | A smokebox numberplate, 2069, from a 2021 Class 0-6-0 tank built at Wolverhampton, Works No 673, in September 1899 as a saddle tank and rebuilt as a pannier tank in June 1920. At Carmarthen by January 1948, it was transferred to Birkenhead and to London Midland Region Book Stock in January 1955. Apart from a short period on loan to Wolverton Works in 1957, it spent its remaining days at Birkenhead and was the last of the class remaining in service when it was withdrawn on 13 April 1959 and cut up at Swindon Works in the week ending 16 May 1959.
