| Lot 161 | A worksplate, LONDON NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, DONCASTER, 1715, 1929, from a LNER K3 Class 2-6-0 No 1345 built Doncaster in July 1929, renumbered 1874 in 1946, becoming BR 61874. A long time Hull Dairycoates engine, it was withdrawn from there on 22 May 1961 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Fully engraved brass, 13½"x7¾", the front lightly polished, the back stamped 1345 and 1874. £700-1000 |
