The origins of this plate are unknown but in 1908 Beyer Peacock supplied locomotives to, amongst others, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Japan, The Netherlands and Uruguay and also to the Taff Vale, Cambrian and North Eastern Railways in the UK. Cast brass, 9¾"x5¾", the front repainted. £150-300 |
