| Lot 480 | A smokebox numberplate, 9421, from a (GWR) 9400 Class 0-6-0PT built by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns, Works No 7558, in July 1950. Allocated new on 7 July 1950 to Slough where it spent all its working life. Withdrawn from Slough on 12 February 1962, it was sold for scrap to Cashmores at Newport, entering their yard on 3 July 1962. Ex loco condition. £250-400 |
