A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 92, DARLINGTON, 1924, from a LNER K3 Class 2-6-0 No 92 built at Darlington in November 1924. It was renumbered 1826 in 1946 and became BR 61826. Allocated to Colwick by January 1948, its later sheds were March, Norwich, Staveley GC and finally back to Colwick from where it was withdrawn on 16 September 1962 and sold for scrap to Cashmores at Great Bridge, taken by them on 21 February 1963. Cast iron, 9"x5", in ex loco condition. £150-300 |
