A nameplate, St. MARTIN, from a 0-6-0ST built by Avonside, Works No 2064, in 1931. It went new to Pearson & Dorman Long Ltd at Betteshanger Colliery, Kent and became National Coal Board property, still at Betteshanger, in January 1947, later spending some time at Snowdown Colliery before returning to Betteshanger. It was scrapped in June 1966. Cast brass, 28½"x 6", the front repainted. £700-1000 |
