| Lot 387 | A smokebox numberplate, 43138, from a (LMS) Class 4 2-6-0 built at Doncaster, Works No 2083, and allocated new to Eastfield on 23 July 1951. Its later Scottish sheds were Bathgate, Parkhead and Hawick with a final few years south of the border at West Auckland, Hull Dairycoates, York and North Blyth from where it was withdrawn on 27 March 1967 and sold for scrap to Arnott at Fighting Cocks. Ex loco condition. £300-500 |
