| Lot 304 | A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 61130, N.B. LOCO, 1946, from a LNER B1 Class 4-6-0 No 1130 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 25886, in February 1947, becoming BR 61130. Allocated to Leicester Central by January 1948, its other early sheds were Gorton, Stratford and March, moving in 1951 to Immingham where it remained until withdrawal on 16 September 1962. It was sold for scrap to T.W. Ward at Beighton. Cast brass, 9"x5", in ex loco condition. £150-300 |
