A worksplate, DUBS, 3526, 1897, from a London & South Western Railway 700 Class 0-6-0 built in May 1897 and originally numbered 703 but renumbered 308 in July 1898. It retained this number in Southern Railway days and became BR 30308. It spent almost all its BR days at Guildford from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 23 September 1961 and cut up at Eastleigh Works in the week ending 14 October 1961. Cast brass, 13¼"x5 ½", the front lightly cleaned. £400-600 |
