| Lot 278 | A worksplate, NEILSON REID, 6073, 1902, from a Great Central Railway Class J9 0-6-0 No 1011 which became LNER J11 Class No 6011 and was renumbered 4318 in 1946, becoming BR 64318. A long time Annesley engine, it moved in May 1957 to Lincoln GN from where it was withdrawn on 15 August 1962 and cut up at Gorton Works during the week ending 22 September 1962. Cast brass, 6¾"x4¼", the front repainted. £400-600 |
