A nameplate, PHILIP, from a standard gauge 0-6-0DH built by Sentinel, Works No 10107, in 1963 which went new to Lysaght's Scunthorpe Works (British Steel Corporation as from 28 July 1967). Sent to Thomas Hill at Rotherham on 1 March 1977 and overhauled before moving to BSC Tinsley Park. It later returned to Thomas Hill and was extensively rebuilt before sale in 1987 to Peakstone Ltd, Dove Holes Quarry, near Buxton. This Company later became Cemex North East and the loco still operates there. Cast brass, 15¼"x4¾", lightly cleaned but unpainted. £300-400 |
