| Lot 245 | A GWR cabside numberplate, 4993, from the 4900 Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in February 1931 and named DALTON HALL after the Hall in the village of South Dalton near Beverley in East Yorkshire. In BR days its sheds included Worcester, Reading and Severn Tunnel Junction from where it was withdrawn in the week ending 6 February 1965 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend on 5 March 1965. Cast brass, in ex loco condition. £1000-1500 |
